BULLYING AND BIAS CAN CAN COME IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS, IN MANY DIFFERENT FORMS. AT ADL, WE TALK ABOUT THE PYRAMID OF HATE. AFTER A GROUP PROJECT, A GIRL WANTS TO ATTEND ANOTHER GIRL'S BIRTHDAY PARTY, BUT SHE WAS NOT INVITED. THAT'S NOT NECESSARILY BULLYING, PER SE. THAT JUST MAYBE SOME REASON THAT SHE DOESN'T WANT THAT STUDENT TO COME TO THE PARTY, OR STUDENTS CALL EACH OTHER'S NAMES, OR BEGIN TO SPREAD BAD RUMORS ABOUT EACH OTHER BECAUSE THEY DISAGREE. BECAUSE WE REALLY NEED TO TARGET THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR BECAUSE IT'S COMING ACROSS AS BULLYING OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR, LIKE I SAID. SO. AND I TOOK THAT INFORMATION AND SUBMITTED IT TO CONFERENCE, THE AMERICAN SCHOOL HEALTH ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE.AND NOT ONLY WAS IT ACCEPTED FOR AN ORAL PRESENTATION, WHICH IS LIKE THE HIGHEST FORM OF PRESENTATION AT THE CONFERENCE NEXT MONTH, THE PRESIDENT OF THE ORGANIZATION REACHED OUT AND SAID IT WAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST RATED ABSTRACTS THAT THEY RECEIVED THIS YEAR. AND THEN WE HAVE OUR STUDENT WELLNESS COALITION. AND THAT YOU GUYS ARE PART OF THAT STUDENT WELLNESS COALITION. BUT THERE'S ALSO A FUNCTION FOR US ADULTS WHO WANT TO FEEL LIKE WE'RE PART OF SOMETHING TO HELP YOU GUYS OUT. SO THERE IS ACTUALLY A ROLE FOR SHACK MEMBERS THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE COALITION TO BE HELPING WITH THE COALITION. SO MAKE SURE YOU GUYS GET A CHANCE TO FILL OUT THE THE PLEDGE FORMS. AND THEN THE BIG ONE WAS THE WELLNESS TAILGATE. AND THERE WERE MANY OF YOU THAT CAME AND SPONSORED FROM EITHER THE DISTRICT OR WE HAD A SHAQ TABLE THERE, AND THEY HAD A LOT OF VENDORS, AND I PUT THIS ON THE KIDS, AND I SAID THAT MULTIPLE TIMES.
